CBAAC Productions I CBAAC Publications I CBAAC Symposiums

The research and publications Division has the responsibility of conducting research into all the facets of Black and African arts and culture. It does this by using either its in house researchers or commissioning external experts to study particular areas of interest.

Other activities of this division include seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia etc. Prominent among the seminars / conferences held so far are:

  • International conference on the Cultural Foundations of African Unity – 1984.

  • International Conference on African Traditional Political  Thought and Institutions – 1988.

  • International workshop on Culture and Economy (in conjunction with the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru)

The Division has been actively involved in the publication of materials, which shed light on the contributions of the Blackman towards the extension of the frontiers of knowledge.
