The Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC)
is a parastatal of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Tourism
established by Degree 69 of 1977 with responsibility for the
promotion and propagation of Black and African arts, culture
and civilization.
Towards the realization of the set objectives of the centre,
it has produced numerous publications on all facets of Black
and African arts and culture. In furtherance of all its set
objectives, the Centre wishes to commence the publication of
the Journal of Black and African Arts and Civilization, a
project initiated in 1992.
JBAAC is expected to contribute to the pool of global
knowledge and highlight the contributions of Africans and
Blacks the world over towards the overall advancement and
development of humanity.
Papers are invited from researchers, scholars and the general
public for publication in the journal within the framework of
the under listed themes:
Themes For The First 4 Issues:
Culture and Development - June 2001 make money blog
Theatre and Performance - December 2001
Culture and Globalisation - June 2002
Language, Folklore and Society - December 2002
Manuscripts should be prepared along the following format:

Written in English language with a one-page abstract.

Not longer than 20 pages double-spaced A4 size paper.

Prepared with the Modern Languages Association (MLA) style
manual.

Submitted in the form of two hard copies as well as on a
diskette in MS Word.

Scripts for each edition should be mailed to reach the
address
below at least three months before the publication of each
issue.
